Eurovision Song Contest 2019 will take place in Tel Aviv in Israel on Saturday the 18th of May. Representing Norway in this year’s ESC is the band KEiiNO, with the song Spirit In The Sky. KEiiNO mixes traditional and modern elements in their music, both electronic pop and joik, the traditional form of song of the Sami people. Spirit In The Sky is inspired by the Sami belief that nature gives you strength in times of trouble.

KEiiNo will be featured in the second round of semi-finals, which takes place Tuesday, 14th of May at 8.00pm on BBC One. Also, make sure to tune in to BBC One on Saturday, 18th of May at 8.00pm to catch the grand finale live from Tel Aviv.
