Artist collective Alt Går Bra presents new performance

at Peckham Platform

On Wednesday 14th December at 7pm artist collective Alt Går Bra will present a new performative work at Peckham Platform, developed in response to their current exhibition, ‘Retrospective’, as part of The Performance Studio’s 2016 programme.

Alt Går Bra is an international group of visual artists based between Bergen, Paris and London. Together they research the intersections between art and politics through exhibitions, performances, printed publications, invited guests and an ongoing series of talks and seminars, held at Bergen Kunsthall, Norway.

The Performance Studio is a production and rehearsal space, set up to provide opportunities for invited artists to experiment with performance over an extended period of time. This small-scale, process-led project presents an open ended environment for the exploration of ideas with performance centre stage as an artistic discipline.

Peckham Platform is a creative and educational charity based in a gallery on Peckham Square, SE15. As an organisation it believes that communities can inform and shape their engagement with their locality by working with contemporary visual artists. Its programme of commissions creates meaningful and accessible social arts practice for Peckham and beyond, providing an expansive platform for different voices and debate, bringing contemporary social practice alive.

The event will take place on-site at Peckham Platform and is free, but booking is essential (registration info below).
