Jackie Charles is a band and love-child of frontwoman Kaja Bremnes. The band’s music can be described as nostalgic indie, that combines the gothic angst of The Cure and the vulnerability of Alvvays. The band says that “reality isn’t all it’s cracked up to be and sometimes living in the past is better than being in the present”, when talking about their track Time Travel and asks “haven’t you ever wanted to travel back to a time when things were less complicated and you felt safe?”.  Their album Future Fantasies will be released in April 2019, in the meantime enjoy their new single Time Travel above.
