Sigbjørn Apeland, Danalogue & Helen Papaioannou

at EFG London Jazz Festival

Norwegian keyboardist, Sigbjørn Apeland, who also plays pipe organ and harmonium as well, is performing at London Jazz Festival.

Educated as a classical church organist, Apeland also works with improvised music and folk music. He is especially known for developing new ways of playing the harmonium/reed organ. For this performance, he will be improvising on the chapel’s own Father Willis organ. Together with colleages Danalogue, who will be performing a set which incorporates the incredible organ at the heart of the chapel, and Helen Papaioannou a composer and saxophonist, this afternoon concert will be magical.
